@Russ_N_Starr had some interesting comments about $DEFTF on his @stocktwits talk this morning. Some of these come from his comments and I’ve added in AUM/revenue/profit/multiple implications: - They make approx 10% in mgmt & staking fees on their ETP AUM - They’re at just under $1B in AUM now just in Europe - They’re going to double the # of ETPs available in Europe by end of month (taking them to $2B in AUM within a reasonable time) - They’re going to double the # of ETPs again by end of 2025 (taking them to $4B in AUM reasonable soon thereafter) - They’ve signed an MOU to enter Asia which could be just as large a market as Europe (taking them to $8B in AUM) - They’re focused on entering Middle East/Africa soon - again just as big a market (taking them to $16B in AUM) - At 10% in fees, they’re going to generate $1.6B a year in revenues from their ETPs (at scale in Europe, Asian, Middle East/Africa) - Add on another $100M a year in DeFi Alpha revenue and that’s $1.7B a year in revenue - Their operating costs are $10M a year - Put a Galaxy 17x forward multiple on that for just under $29B - Their crypto treasury and cash today is $60M; give that a 2.4x multiple (like $MSTR) for $144M in market cap; they will likely add more BTC, SOL, and CORE to their treasury as they’ve indicated - With 320M shares, that implies a stock price of $90/share vs. $2.85 currently - That’s not where it should trade today but could it trade there by end of 2025 with product and geographic expansion suggesting they’re on their way to $16B in crypto AUM worldwide? That’s the blue sky scenario.
