Orfoglipron (Foundayo) label shortcomings Just looked into the PI (label) of Foundayo (Orfoglipron) We all knew that the efficacy will not be has high as injecatables or Wegovy Pill and it will most likely be somewhat less tolerable But I am really surprised about some of the other things that are on the label: There is reference to DDI with Simvastatin - this is a big problem for many as so many people on AOM also use Statins. I remember Novo CEO made a reference to this at JPM congress back in January and Dave Ricks said it’s a non-issue , well it happens to be in the label now. There is also a warning for Women who are on birth control pills (contraceptives) as they have to stop 30 days before starting the Orfo medication- this is also a major issue as many patients are women and will not want to chose between their birth control pill and their anti obesity medication. And to top it all off, unusually there is specific issue with Foundayo and hair loss !
<Ironie> Statine (gegen Herzinfarkt/Schlaganfall) einfach weglassen, statt "der Pille" einfach "coitus interruptus" und wenn dann die Haare ausfallen, hat HIMs was im Sortiment </Ironie>

Nach der Zulassung der Diätpille von Eli Lilly in den USA haben die Aktien des US-Pharmakonzerns ihre jüngste Erholung fortgesetzt.
Die Eli Lilly-Papiere zogen am Mittwoch an der NYSE zeitweise um 5,03 Prozent auf 966,07 US-Dollar an. Damit hat sich auch das Chartbild weiter aufgehellt: Die Anteilscheine kletterten über die 21-Tage-Durchschnittslinie, die den kurzfristigen Trend beschreibt.
Die einmal täglich einzunehmende Tablette namens Foundayo wurde zugelassen, um Menschen dabei zu helfen, Gewicht zu verlieren oder bereits erreichtes Gewicht zu halten, teilte die US-Arzneimittelbehörde FDA mit. Dies erhöht den Druck auf den dänischen Wettbewerber Novo Nordisk, der Anfang dieses Jahres eine Pille gegen Fettleibigkeit auf den Markt gebracht hatte.

Ist es nicht. Im Bereich der Adipositas Medikamente - und darauf beruhte nun Mal der Hype bei Novo - ist Lily Meilenweit voraus. Die Drecksfirma ist Novo. Alleine schon mit ihrer Informationspolitik den Aktionären gegenüber.
