$NVO $NOVO Novo Nordisk has invested several billion Czech crowns in a plant in the Czech Republic that will produce ingredients for a new generation of drugs for diabetes and obesity, CTK reports.
The plant will be inaugurated on June 12 in the presence of Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis and Novo Nordisk CEO Mike Doustdar.
The plant has previously produced components for Novavax's COVID vaccine and Baxter's swine flu vaccine. Novo Nordisk purchased the plant from Novavax in 2024 for $200 million.

Morgan Stanley just rewrote their whole 2030 obesity model.
They had injection vs oral at 70/30 market share. With the extremely positive launch of wegovy pill they now say 50/50!
They previously had Founday taking 55% of oral market vs 27% for wegovy pill. Now they say 45/45 in 2030
This means they also do a major upgrade of wegovy pill peak sales.
MS now has peak sales at $17B vs concensus at $8.5B
The tides are slowly turning……
My comment. $NVO has capacity to sell for well above $10B wegovy pill next year.
