Deutsche Bank reiterates its Hold rating on $NVO with a DKK 290 price target following its weekly review of U.S. prescription data.
The bank sees continued slowing for oral Wegovy.
Based on current prescription trends, Deutsche Bank expects:
• Ozempic to come in double-digit above 2026 consensus
• Oral Wegovy to land single-digit below consensus (no, it isn't a typo).
• Injectable Wegovy and Rybelsus to come in double-digit below consensus

I previously tweeted that SB1 Markets raised its price target on $NVO to DKK 360 from DKK 350 while reiterating its Buy rating. A bit more context on the call: SB1 expects a mixed Q2, but sees oral Wegovy as the key growth driver. The launch continues to develop strongly and outperform $LLY 's Foundayo, with more than 3M prescriptions and users likely approaching 2M. Generic semaglutide launches, particularly in Canada, are expected to have an impact in H2 and partly already in Q2. SB1 expects Novo to raise the lower end of its full-year growth guidance with the Q3 report rather than Q2. SB1 raised its obesity revenue estimates by 2-3% while cutting diabetes estimates by 1-2%, leaving overall revenue estimates broadly unchanged. The bigger point is that SB1 believes the market still underestimates Novo's growth potential due to conservative forecasts and a low valuation. Its oral Wegovy sales estimates are more than 60% above consensus for 2028 and 55% above consensus for 2032.

More context on the semaglutide quality issues at Dr. Reddy's and why this could matter for $NVO .
According to the FT, Dr. Reddy's now expects semaglutide supply to resume in late October or early November at the earliest.
The company had targeted sales of 12 million pens in its first year. That has now been cut to 6–7 million.
The disruption has also hit Torrent Pharmaceuticals, which uses Dr. Reddy's API and has voluntarily recalled selected batches as a precaution.
The FT calls the setback a "serious blow" that threatens Dr. Reddy's early-mover advantage in semaglutide.
Worth watching as lower-cost semaglutide competition expands following patent expiries in markets including India and Canada.
