Slyce logo January 28, 2016 Best Buy Launches Slyce Integration Hello Siggi Tyka, In an article published early today by Mobile Commerce Daily, the recent revamp and launch of visual search technology, powered by Slyce, within the Best Buy Android App was announced. According to the Android App Store the Best Buy app has between 5-10 Million active monthly users. The Best Buy App now allows users to take an image of a product with their mobile device, have the product in the image recognized, and made available for purchase, skipping a stop in at their local store. For Slyce this represents another client successfully integrating, and launching their technology, expanding the scope of the company' product expertise. “Although we can’t comment on Best Buy’s implementation specifically, providing shoppers with ability to simply hover their mobile device over any product in a circular ad, have that product matched exactly and able to be purchased in just a few taps, takes all the friction from the purchase process and enables shoppers to easily act on impulse,” said Mark Elfenbein, President and CEO of Slyce. In the company's previous quarter they had released 6 major customer announcements. These announcements continue to now come on line with live integrations.
