Rio Tinto (RIO.L) erhöht die Schlussdividende um 14.67% von $2.25 auf $2.58 pro Aktie.
Ex-Div-Tag wird am 07.03.2024 sein.
Zahl-Tag wird am 18.04.2024 sein.
Beim derzeitigen Kurs von $65.92 entspricht das einer zukünftigen jährlichen Dividendenrendite von 6.6%.

Naja Rio baut ja immer mehr auch andere Dinge ab die Profitabel sind, deshalb lässt mich das mit dem Eisenerz kalt

Ob Eisenerz fällt oder steigt ist sicher nicht vorhersagbar. Das wäre ja sonst zu einfach. Aber ein Rückgang der Zinsen und ankurbeln der Wirtschaft wäre ein Grund für einen steigenden Preis. KGV von unter 10 bei der Dividende wäre natürlich super aber so ist das auch okay. Rio ist einer der wenigen Aktien die bei mir mit Sparplan laufen. Da bin noch entspannter...

65$ geteilt durch 4,35$ eps macht ein KGV von 14,95 und der Eisenerzpreis soll ja weiter fallen. Meiner Meinung nach muss die Aktie mindestens auf 50 $ runterkommen (wäre dann ein kgv von 11),, wenn nicht aus dem nichts China wieder brummt. Mir fehlt ein wenig die Phantasie wo jetzt die große Nachfrage nach Eisenerz herkommen soll, ausser evtl durch einen WK3. Aber dann haben wir andere Probleme

Rio Tinto reported a 19% decline in annual net profit and cut its payout to shareholders following a drop in aluminum and copper prices.
The world’s second-biggest miner by market value said Wednesday that it made a net profit of $10.06 billion in 2023. That was down from a profit of $12.39 billion in 2022.
Underlying earnings—a closely watched profit measure that strips out some one-time charges—totaled $11.76 billion, down 12%. Analysts expected underlying earnings of $11.64 billion, according to a consensus estimate compiled by Visible Alpha from 18 forecasts.
Directors declared a final dividend of $2.58 a share, taking the miner’s total payout for the year to $4.35 a share. It paid investors $4.92 a share for 2022.
Rio Tinto’s earnings were weighed by lower prices for the aluminum and copper it sells. That was offset by a slight rise in the price it received for its Australian iron ore, which accounts for most of the company’s profits.

Das ist ja nicht ganz schlecht. Mal sehen wie der Ausblick ist.
