Very impressed by IperionX following a site visit to their Virginia campus on Friday. Ramp up to 1,000 tpa by end of next year seems to be progressing apace. $66M in cash as of 3/31 before US DoD $47M grant funding hit the balance sheet. More importantly, the HAMR and HSPT tech really does appear to work at industrial scale. Which means titanium metal and titanium products can be produced for potentially an order of magnitude cheaper (depending on the specific application) vs existing processes, with lower energy/carbon intensity and comparable/higher quality. Not even China can compete - and these guys are made in the USA. So IPX can take over the titanium metal and products market (40ktpa in the US alone) and also make inroads into the far larger stainless steel and aluminum markets, as @Sustainabledud1 mentions here. I've increased my position by 60%.
