da findet man ja gar nichts mehr zu echt schade. wenigstens ein Statement warum es aufgegeben wurde wäre interessant. Wird vllt zeit für eine Umbenennung in Cement_CalcX?! :)

Fokus liegt nicht mehr nur auf dem Salzspeicher, was ich sehr positiv ansehe. Die Entwicklungen zusammen mit SSAB sind auch solide. Eigentlich verwunderlich warum der Kurs hier so niedrig ist schon wieder. Ich sehe SaltX eigentlich bei Werten zwischen 1 - 2€, nach aktuellem Stand.

The company has also produced a significant volume of high-quality quicklime, which will now undergo testing and evaluation in steel production. This success marks an important breakthrough, paving the way for further commercialization and expansion. Since the fall of 2024, SaltX has focused substantial resources on conducting extensive technology and material testing at its test and research facility (ECRC) in Hofors. The primary objectives have been to ensure high material quality (degree of calcination and reactivity) and extend operational runtimes while maintaining material quality. These goals have now been met, and a delivery of electrically produced quicklime is being prepared for testing in steel production at a Swedish steel manufacturer during the spring of 2025. Lina Jorheden, CEO of SaltX: “This breakthrough proves that the technology and concept for electrically produced quicklime meet the highest quality standards and are scalable. We can now take the next step in our validation and scaling plan for the technology and begin preparations for additional material testing.” SaltX has fulfilled the quality requirements for calcination (material and reactivity) relevant to the steel, pulp, and paper industries, confirming a stable and high-quality process well-suited for industrial application. In specific test runs, the operations team has achieved a calcination rate of 99 percent (carbon content <0.1%), proving the potential of the technology. After numerous adjustments and optimizations to the overall system, the company has also surpassed the target of plant operating hours with consistent material quality. Lars Croon, CTO at SaltX, explains: "In 2022, we verified our solution at our initial pilot plant. Now, we have demonstrated that the technology is scalable, which is a significant achievement and something I take great pride in.” SMA Mineral has played an active role in the extensive testing that has been underway at the SaltX facility in Hofors. SaltX Technology is strengthening its financial position through a conditional loan from its main shareholders, Industrifonden and SMA Mineral, totaling MSEK 20. Each party will contribute MSEK 10 to ensure the continued development and industrialization of the company's electrification technology targeted for the lime and cement industry.
