Naja, wenn jemand schreibt, dass ein Unternehmer überbewertet ist, dann muss man es ja begründen können. Sonst braucht man die These hier ja nicht reinstellen. Splunk shares plunge 20% after surprise FQ3 loss, downside revenue forecast • Splunk shares slide 10% AH after fiscal Q3 results fell short on the top and bottom lines and with annual recurring revenue. • Total revenue was down 11% on the year to $558.57M, missing estimates by about $57.7M. Splunk reported a $0.07 loss per share vs. the expected $0.08 gain. • Cloud revenue was up 80% to $144.7M. • Total ARR was up 44% Y/Y to $2.07B vs. the $2.12B estimate. Cloud ARR increased 71% to $630M. • Adjusted operating margin was negative 1.7% vs. the 3.2% consensus and Splunk's prior guidance of 2-5%. • For Q4, Splunk forecasts revenue of $650-700M vs. the $783.68M and operating margin between negative 4% and positive 3%. • “Our cloud momentum continued in the third quarter, we exceeded our cash flow target significantly and we ended with Cloud ARR up 71% year-over-year — among the highest growth rates in the industry,” says CFO Jason Child. “While the environment was a challenge in the quarter, we are enthusiastic about the large and growing opportunity ahead and remain confident in our long-term growth trajectory. • JPMorgan downgrades Splunk from Overweight to Neutral and cuts the price target from $230 to $175. • The firm was "blindsided by the magnitude of too many large deals slipping in the final days of October" and can't explain the slip. • JPMorgan says it could take Splunk time to rebuild investor confidence in its execution and its "transition story." • More action: Morgan Stanley maintains an Overweight rating but cuts its price target from $270 to $213, citing the "significant negative surprise" with the "sharp falloff in Q3 demand" and withdrawal of long-term targets.

Aktie war sehr heiß, aber passt zum Sektor. Man lässt direkt Luft ab wenn die Aussichten dem Kurs nicht mehr standhalten...

Jop sehr überbewertet

So ein heftiger Abschlag, weil man die Zahlen (scheinbar auch aufgrund der Wachstumsausgaben!?) nicht erwartungsgemäß erfüllt hat!? 😳 Ist das nicht etwas übertrieben? Oder war die Aktie zuvor einfach gnadenlos überbewertet?

Das habe ich ich so herausgelesen. Ich denke der Wert wird wieder fahrt aufnehmen, kann natürlich in der jetzigen Phase erst einmal konsolidieren...

Ich hab mal eine erste Position gekauft. -20% erscheint mir doch arg. Das EV Sales müsste auch wieder unter 10 sein

Da haben die Algos ordentlich verkauft, weil das Umsatzwachstum durch die Umstellung von Lizenz auf ARR rückläufig ist

Wiederkehrende Umsätze gut, Cloud wächst stark. Denke die hohe Bewertung und dies alles führen zu diesem Abschlag

Jop... Vllt mal n paar Stücke nachlegen. The data analytics software company reported an adjusted loss of a 7-cents loss per share on revenue of $559 million. Wall Street expected Splunk to report earnings of 9 cents on revenue of $613 million. Revenue fell 11% from the year-ago period. For its fiscal fourth quarter, Splunk expects revenue in the range of $650 million to $700 million. Wall Street expected $777 million.

Zahlen q3 waren stark, bis auf total revenue was nun hart bestraft wird. Mmn
