das war der Grund für den "Absturz" Rival To Eli Lilly's Alzheimer's Drug Seen As Potentially Safer --1017 ET - Eli Lilly's new Alzheimer's drug Kisunla, which was approved by the FDA on Tuesday, may not have as strong of a safety profile as Eisai and Biogen's Leqembi, Third Bridge analyst Lee Brown says in a note. Specialists at his firm believe the FDA-approved Leqembi, introduced last year, may have a superior safety profile given that it uses a slightly different mechanism of action, Brown says. Leqembi targets an early intermediate amyloid structure, while Kisunla targets large aggregated accumulations of amyloid beta, and the difference in targeting may allow for consistently lower Amyloid Related Imaging Abnormalities risk with Leqembi, the analyst says.
