Aktien Japan: Bericht über Neuwahl treibt Nikkei 225 auf Rekordhoch TOKIO (dpa-AFX) - Am japanischen Aktienmarkt ist es nach Berichten über mögliche vorgezogene Neuwahlen deutlich nach oben gegangen. Der Tokioter Leitindex Nikkei 225 JP9010C00002 <XC0009692440> kletterte um bis zu 3,6 Prozent auf den Rekordstand von 53.814,79 Punkten. Das Niveau konnte der Index nicht ganz halten, ging aber mit einem Plus von 3,1 Prozent auf 53.549 Punkte aus dem Handel. Damit legte der Nikkei 225 in den ersten Handelstagen des Jahres inzwischen um mehr als sechs Prozent zu - und das, nachdem der japanische Leitindex bereits in den vergangenen drei Jahren jeweils deutlich angezogen hatte. Seit Ende 2022 hat sich der Index mehr als verdoppelt. Das starke Plus am Dienstag führten Händler auf die Spekulationen über eine mögliche Neuwahl zurück. So könnte Premierministerin Sanae Takaichi, die seit Oktober 2025 amtiert, laut einem Bericht der Nachrichtenagentur Kyodo ihre derzeit hohe Popularität nutzen, um ihre Macht durch neue Mehrheitsverhältnisse nach einer Wahl zu festigen. Takaichi steht für eine aggressive Fiskalpolitik und sie befürwortet eine expansive Geldpolitik. Beides belastet den Yen, was wiederum gut für die japanischen Unternehmen ist, die vielfach stark vom Export leben.
