RE:Spoke with Barry IR Why did Canopy Fire Bruce? Why didn’t they attempt to soften the blow when they released financials with a $1.2 billion loss? Why did they have the interim Ceo talk about Canopy not being profitable for another 3-5 years? Why did they do ALL of these negative things while the stock was already declining in the lowest volume months of the year (summer)? My guess, It’s all part of a master plan to scare the heck out of retail investors. Institutions are starting to see who the real leaders will be, and they wanted to load up at discount prices. APHA just posted pretty great revenues last quarter and ACB is implying they will follow suit, so why would institutions pay top dollar and give retail investors money? They know all they have to do is send the masses into a panic, and retail investors will run for the hills leaving great buying opportunities in their tracks. My prediction is this. They fired Bruce knowing full well they would hire him back. He either assumes this, or knew ahead of time and was part of the plan. He has been giving interviews at many different networks and even though he was just fired, he hasn’t been trashing the company at all, and in fact has been pumping it and saying he continues to buy. He knows he will be sitting in that seat again and in the meantime; he can pump a stock as an investor instead of a CEO because it looks more genuine. Bruce didn’t get to where he was by not thinking 3 moves ahead, and I think this was totally orchestrated. September buying pressure will be here next week and I think the final storms will happen between now and early next week. It is just a shakedown of investors to get cheap shares. Aus dem Stockhouse Forum: Just spoke with Barry from IR and things look to be promising, expect more news to come after the first on September , I asked about northern lights and were up in full scale , we lost 1.5 million with that mishap in Jamaica, it could have been worse , as far as the store in California that went south of the border. I asked why can't we maintain at least 10 cents and it was simply said do to shorters none the.less he said in the coming weeks will be getting alot more good news. Hört sich ja erstmal gut an, bis auf die 1,5mio Verlust aber das ist ja nichts neues.
