Credit Suisse: Upgrade Weichai Power (02338) to "Outperform" with a target price of HK$14.4
Weichai Power (02338) was upgraded to "outperform" from "neutral" and the price target was raised to HK$14.4 from HK$8.5, according to a Credit Suisse research report. The bank raised the company's profit forecast for this year and next by 7% and 5% respectively, and expects mainland heavy truck sales to grow 21%/17%/16% year-on-year from 2023-25. With a market share of around 30%, Weichai Power will be the market leader in the diesel engine market in the Mainland.
