Was aktuell bemerkenswert ist…. Es wechseln gerade Aktienpakete mit bis zu 100000 Aktien den Besitzer. Bei Kursen zwischen 0,93 bis 0,96 Euro. Volumen in Deutschland sehr hoch. Man fragt sich, woher diese vielen Aktien zu dem Kurs kommen. Vielleicht ist es ja ein Zeichen, dass die Wende ansteht….

China's metals export controls send price of tungsten higher TOKYO -- Prices of tungsten and other industrial metals have risen sharply since China, a vital supplier, tightened export restrictions. Ammonium paratungstate (APT) is a common source of tungsten and a price benchmark for the metal, which has uses that include ultrahard tools for machining automotive engines. European spot prices of APT were up 8% on March 6 compared with before the restrictions were put in place. Ten kilograms of APT fetched about $365 on March 6, Argus Media reports. Chinese authorities announced export curbs on a range of metals on Feb. 4, including tungsten, tellurium, bismuth, molybdenum and indium. This move was seen as retaliation for the additional 10% tariff the U.S. slapped on Chinese goods, which happened the same day. Previous export controls from China came with grace periods, but the action targeting the industrial metals went into effect immediately. China accounts for 81% of the global supply of raw tungsten, according to a Mizuho Bank analysis. The tungsten industry is trying to diversify its suppliers away from China. European companies are seeking APT sources and Vietnam, a big producer, has seen a rise in interest from new customers, said Cristina Belda, deputy editor at Argus Metals International. The U.S. imposed a 25% tariff on Chinese imports of the metal in January, prompting a search for alternative sources. In Japan, Mitsubishi Materials purchased German tungsten materials manufacturer H.C. Starck Holding last year. "We aim to achieve a stable global supply by increasing the recycling rate of tungsten," said Hideyuki Ozawa at H.C. Starck. But technical hurdles remain to such efforts. China has been tightening export controls on industrial metals since 2023, when it imposed restrictions on gallium and germanium, which are used in semiconductor materials. In September 2024, antimony, used as a flame retardant in automobiles and electronic devices, was added to the list. For antimony, European spot prices have more than doubled since the Chinese curbs were put in place. A sudden drop in antimony exports raised supply concerns. According to Chinese customs statistics, exports were down 56% in December compared with a year earlier. Japan received no exports of Chinese antimony from October to December last year. Only a few export permits have been granted this year, according to an antimony products manufacturer in Japan, but "it's unclear whether the export permits will continue." Because the rare metal export controls were implemented immediately, "it may have been difficult to prepare for last-minute imports," said Takahiro Sato, senior analyst at Mizuho Bank's industry research department.
