Arbutus Biopharma Co. (NASDAQ:ABUS) was the recipient of some unusual options trading activity on Friday. Investors purchased 8,542 call options on the stock. This is an increase of approximately 140% compared to the typical daily volume of 3,559 call options. A number of institutional investors and hedge funds have recently modified their holdings of ABUS.

Bei einem bevorstehenden Patentstreit über viele Mrd. wird es uns bestimmt nicht schaden, sich jetzt schon zu positionieren.

@Biomainzelmann Ich wollte nur meine Behauptung mit Quelle hinterlegen, der Artikel ist zwar schon 2 Monate alt, ist jedoch trotzdem noch aktuell. Ich denke wenn Moderna die Zulassung bekommt gehen wir hier steil und falls das mit dem Patent zu Gunsten von Arbutus entschieden wird, sieht Moderna nurnoch unsere Rücklichter!

Hat Moderna etwa nachgewiesen, dass die vakanten fluessigen Nanopartikel (LNP) nicht in der Vaccine verwendet werden? Wurde etwa die "Rezeptur" geändert?

$ABUS This is completely undervalued because of nervous investors. IMHO with the win over the summer, the market isnt even pricing in a potential for their patents to be upheld. This should be trading at $10.00 or more based on that decision. If $MRNA was to buy them out it would be at least 2 Billion which would give them a share price of about $25.00. So we are not even factoring the potential for the patents to be upheld.

Die finale Entscheidung steht wohl noch aus. Moderna behauptet, der strittige Bereich waere nicht patentierbar und somit verletze es nicht das Patentrecht. Arbutus und das Gericht sahen das meines Erachtens zuletzt anders. Ich denke es bleibt spannend. Natürlich behauptet jeder im Recht zu sein....

Meanwhile, Moderna has full ownership of COVID-19 vaccine candidate mRNA-1273, and doesn't have to share any potential revenue or profits from sales of the vaccine. Granted, Arbutus Biopharma owns the patent to lipid nanoparticle (LNP) technology used in the past by Moderna. However, Moderna has publicly stated that mRNA-1273 doesn't use any technology covered by Arbutus' patent.

Sauber, Alex. 20% wären gewaltig. Das würde Arbutus in eine andere Liga katapultieren wenn es dabei bleibt.

Alex81 Der Artikel ist interessant, aber doch schon vom 4. September, oder? Ich bin zuversichtlich, hab auch nochmal nachgelegt, aber ob das schon final ist, ich bin unsicher.
