BYD Indonesia sale in June was 4215 (5.6% share)
It's mostly selling M6 & Seagull that are produced in local plant from CKD assembly.
China count a car as exported unless 60% are produced in another country. BYD's current localizations are 54% in Thailand, 40% in Indonesia, 35% Uzbekistan & 30% in Brazil & Hungary. Expect all these # to continue to climb as BYD likely will eventually reach 70% in all the major plants.
As such, at some pt, we will see less "export", even though many of the exports now are getting significant production in overseas factory already.

In H1 2026, the cumulative retail volume (based on insurance registrations) in China's PV market reached 8.5M units, -18.3% YoY.🇨🇳
• #BYD tops the ranking with 796.7k units (9.3% MS) , though it posted a sharp 44.5% YoY decline. VW ranks 2nd with 678.7k units (8.0% MS) , -27.4% YoY, and Toyota is 3rd with 655.0k (7.7% MS) , -9.1% YoY. All three top brands saw YoY decreases.
• Only three brands achieved positive YoY growth: Leap (7th) with 258.8k, +45.1% YoY; #Xiaomi (16th) with 186.1k, +17.8% YoY; and #Huawei Aito (19th) with 159.5k, +8.4% YoY.
