According to official information, BYD will unveil a new generation pure electric bus platform at the exhibition, featuring stronger blade batteries, motor control systems, and other "leading new technologies." The currently available BYD B10 pure electric bus measures approximately 10.5 m in length, 2.6 m in width, and 3.3 m in height. It is equipped with a new floating surround dashboard (12-inch full LCD instrument panel), a new ergonomic driver seat with ventilation, heating, and massage functions, and new ergonomic antibacterial passenger seats. The BYD B10 comes with IP69 dustproof and waterproof batteries and is also equipped with 360° panoramic imaging, electronic rearview mirrors, and can be fitted with dual throttle misstep protection systems, fatigue driving monitoring systems, lane departure warning systems, collision mitigation systems, and other advanced driver assistance systems. The bus has a maximum range of 355 km and a maximum rated passenger capacity of 95 people. In April 2024, China's PV retail sales were 1.5M units, down 2.7% YoY and 1.3% MoM. 🔹Among top 20 brands, only #BYD saw a 40.3% YoY increase, ranking 1st with 236.4k units. In April, the BEV market sold 418k units, +27% YoY. 🔹#BYD led with 120k units, +51% YoY, while #Tesla, Wuling, and Aion ranked 2nd to 4th, with declines of 20.9%, 16.9%, and 31.6% respectively. 🔹#Zeekr and #NIO both grew over 100% YoY, with similar sales. 🔹#Xpeng sold 8.9k units in 13th place,+29.6% YoY, and #Xiaomi entered in the top 20, ranking 16th with 7.3k units sold.
