Sind die Ports verkauft?

The Hong Kong-based group confirmed last week that closing the deal this year was no longer possible. Co-managing director Frank Sixt told analysts that “with a deal of this size and complexity, closing would not in any case occur this year even if binding [new] arrangements are agreed this year.” He maintained, however, that there remained a “reasonable chance” of reaching an agreement acceptable to all parties.

The Supreme Court of Panama has annulled a contract for a Hong Kong company to operate two ports at either end of the Panama Canal, handing President Trump a victory for his security ambitions in the Western Hemisphere and denting China’s influence in the region. The high court said the terms under which CK Hutchison runs the ports of Balboa on the Pacific Coast and Cristóbal on the Atlantic side were unconstitutional, setting the stage for the company’s departure from the port facilities.

Case could take years to resolve, whether the Hong Kong conglomerate seeks compensation or ruling invalidating the voiding of its contract

Mir persönlich geht es sowieso um die dividende und Unternehmen zu finden, bei dem ich den Grundwert meines Investments nicht verliere, sondern noch steigern kann

Der Buchwert der Aktie hat sich ja fast verdoppelt. Für mich ist die Aktie unterbewertet und wenn ich dann noch die dividenden dazu nehme top

Ich bin auch mit 600 Anteilen eingestiegen.

Ja ist ein Punkt, aber die eigentliche Nettoverschuldung ist gar nicht so hoch. Außerdem sind die meisten Schulden innerhalb der Tochtergesellschaften. Ist eher eine Spaßwette mit 500 Anteilen. Mal schauen wie es sich entwickelt. Donald Trumps schritt den Panamakanal "zurückzuholen" sollte hier auch Rückenwind geben.

Die Schulden nicht vergessen und mal auf den EV schauen. Dann sieht es nicht so attraktiv aus

Der Deal ist extrem gut. Die Häfen machen nur 17% vom Ebitda aus und du bekommst dafür Cash in Höhe deiner aktuellen Marktkapitalisierung. Würde bedeuten den Rest von Hutchison bekommst du umsonst. Bin mit 500 Anteilen eingestiegen. Größtes Risiko ist es, dass der Deal überhaupt durchgeht.

Soweit ich das richtig verstanden habe, sind 43 Milliarden Schulden angehäuft, davon kann man jetzt 15 Milliarden abziehen. Ich finde den Deal Schrott.

Die beiden Häfen gehen zu 90% an Blackrock, es scheint sonst aber um den ganzen Häfen zu gehen
