Clovis Oncology, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLVS) today announced its presence at the 2016 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, where it will share updated results from clinical studies of rucaparib. ASCO will take place June 3-7, 2016 in Chicago. “We look forward to providing updates on rucaparib data in ovarian cancer, including in patients with mutations beyond BRCA, as well as the first presentation of our pancreatic cancer data,” said Patrick J. Mahaffy, CEO and President of Clovis Oncology. “These datasets demonstrate rucaparib’s encouraging clinical activity and tolerability profile in the treatment of ovarian and pancreatic cancers. Both represent diseases in which BRCA mutations play a significant role in certain patients, as well as areas where additional treatment options are very much needed.”

Enrollment was stopped due to lack of responses in the first 15 pts evaluated; the 3 PRs occurred in the last 4 pts enrolled. Common treatment-related AEs included nausea and anemia (37% each). Common treatment-related grade ≥ 3 AEs included anemia (26%), thrombocytopenia (16%), and fatigue (11%).Conclusions: Rucaparib provided clinical benefit to pts with advanced PC and a BRCA mutation and demonstrated an acceptable safety profile. Less heavily pretreated pts derived durable benefit, suggesting that rucaparib may be an option earlier in the treatment course. Gute Frage.. Das Management und die Chefs haben anscheinend die Zahlen+Wirkungsquoten gedreht wie es ihnen gepasst hat, bis die FDA es aufgedeckt hat, dass das Mittel nicht so der Brüller ist. Daher wurde die Entwicklung dessen nun eingestampft. Was jetzt passiert, da die wirklichen Zahlen der Öffentlichkeit vorenthalten wurden, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Falls da wirklich was dran sein sollte und das auch belegt wird, dann.tippe auf eine nochmalige Korrektur nach unten Richtung 9€. Die Forschung an weiteren Mitteln geht ja noch weiter und diese werden hoffentlich dann einschlagen. Sonst wird das echt noch n Penny :((

The Firm’s investigation relates to whether certain current and/or former senior officers and directors breached their fiduciary duties to the Company by allegedly causing the Company to issue materially false and misleading statements regarding rociletinib, Clovis’ proprietary cancer drug for lung cancer treatment.
