Warum sollten die von Biontech nach curevac

Geht mal davon aus, dass sich in 2-3 Wochen etwas in Sachen Zulassung positiv bewegt. Füße still halten und evtl. Zukauf ist nach meiner Meinung angesagt. Übrigens wird Curevac mit Sicherheit Teil der bereits mehrfach angesprochen "nationalen Impfstrategie". Also keine Eintagsfliege, sondern langfristiges Potential. Auch bei den bereits angesprochenen 3.-Impfungen Ende des Jahres wird Curevac eine Rolle spielen.

Catching up reading the posts Ruudi. My view is perhaps simplistic- but Curevac data release is going to be the first actual real time data release from trials where the variants are included. No other vaccine as been in trials during the variants NONE NONE NONE. The advantage here is simple- Curevac are not guessing on how effective the vaccine is with new variants- the variants are in trial data across a range of ages. If the efficacy is say only 83%, its 83% on all, and its not like Pfizer or Moderna AZ which with the vaccines they have its a guessing game- its all about hope there vaccines work One set of data out of Chile marks Pfizer down at 42% another says 67%. We ( CUREVAC ) ARE GOING TO RELEASE REAL DATA . Big advantage- if there needs to be any adjustments- its based on trial data they have complied .

Die Ema bekommt doch nur was auch auswertbar ist. Und erst wenn alle Daten da sind gibt es das GO.... Der einzige Vorteil dass die Daten immer direkt an die EMA gehen ist doch der, dass eben nicht am Ende alle Daten erst noch ausgewertet werden müssen, sondern dann quasi sofort das Ergebnis da ist
