Our German group of BNTX investors maintains an order tally for the Covid vaccines. Current estimate, based on confirmed orders, stands around ca. 40 bn USD revenue 2022. This includes 2.2 bn USD with Fosun, and slightly over 4 bn USD with Germany and Turkey, which all will go to BNTX. On the sales to Germany and Turkey, however, PFE will receive its margin share, ca. 1.2 bn USD. So, we might currently anticipate some 35 bn USD PFE revenue from Comirnaty. On top might still come - some 600 m revenue from contracts still under negotiation (primarily India, plus smaller deals with Balkans countries); - up to 7 bn USD from the EU, should the 2021 option for up to 300m booster shots be drawn (6 bn for PFE when considering the German/BNTX portion in it); - possible booster contracts with the US, for delivery already in 2021. The volume could depend on the extent that the EU will draw its booster option. Contracted 2021 sales, plus orders under negotiation, stand at around 2.7 bn doses, leaving ca. 300m doses residual output (of 3 bn doses in total) yet unaccounted for. The EU might absorb that quantity in full, or leave some of it for US boosters. All in all, we anticipate some 47-48 bn USD Comirnaty revenue worldwide in 2021, from which ca. 41.5 bn USD shall end up in PFE's books.

Interessanterweise die Global Times aus Peking, die der KP untersteht. Von der in Hong Kong erscheinenden SCMP hätte ich durchaus Fosun/ BioNTech-Sympathie erwartet, aber die Global Times ist schon etwas überraschend. Das hört sich in der Tat gut an! P.S.: In dem Artikel findet sich auch noch, dass der Deal "(had) the backing of the relevant Chinese departments behind it."

Wie heisst der denn ?

Es gibt einen Impfstoff, mit dem dieses Jahr absehbar rund 40 Milliarden Umsatz gemacht wird.

Selbst Nordkorea möchte kein Astra mehr.

China hat großen Einfluss der Welt Gesundheits Organisation WHO auf direktem Weg und auch auf indirektem Weg über die Partner der neuen Seidenstraße. Ob der Einfluss für Curevac Im Vergleich dazu ausreichen wird, um eine Zulassung über die WHO zu erreichen erscheint mir fraglich. Falls das Unternehmen bisher weder bei der WHO noch bei der EMA vollständige Anträge eingereicht hat, ist es sehr unwahrscheinlich dass im Juli eine Zulassung erteilt wird. Man sollte außerdem die politischen Interessen und Gegebenheiten nicht völlig außer Acht lassen. Insgesamt ist eine Zulassung für das Unternehmen weiterhin eher unwahrscheinlich, auch für die Folgemonate, meiner bescheidenen Meinung nach.
