Abwarten und Kaffee trinken. Es kommt oft aus heiteren Himmel was auf die Märkte zu, womit niemand rechnet. Für 400-600 Punkte runter wäre der DAX noch gut. Zu mindestens die 23350-280er Zone sollte er noch anlaufen.

Klar. Aber die Investitionen sind astronomisch. Ja, seit 3 Jahren wird Blase gerufen. Und nix ist geplatzt. Aber trotzdem sollte man im Auge behalten, dass da weiter ein sehr hohes Risiko weiter besteht, dass sie platzt. Dass da gewaltige Ausgaben gemacht werden, die einfach nicht durch Einnahmen gedeckt sind. Oder komplett unklar sind, wie die mal gedeckt werden.

Oracle hat ein debt to equity ration von 427% (!). Und 21 Milliarden operating cash flow und 27 Milliarden capex Ausgaben in den letzten 12 Monaten. Die 300 Milliarden, die Open AI zahlen will, hat Open AI natürlich auch (noch) nicht. Wer bezahlt das alles am Ende? Und ja Meta, Microsoft, Amazon haben viel gesündere Finanzen, aber die müssten ja weiter dagegen halten. Wie lange geht das noch gut? Da war neulich ein guter Artikel im Economist(leider hinter der Paywall) Titel:How America’s AI boom is squeezing the rest of the economy. Auszug:Something like a sixth of the 2% rise in American GDP over the past year has come from investments in computer and communications equipment, including chips, and data centres. Add in the grid upgrades to power AI models, plus the intellectual-property value of the software itself, and one estimate puts the boom’s contribution to GDP growth at 40%. It is an astonishing figure for a sector that accounts for just a few per cent of America’s total GDP.
The AI build-out is not a normal investment boom. Until recently, big tech firms paid for most of it from their earnings and cash piles. Now the scale of construction is too great even for these giants, so they are turning to borrowing. They are building data centres in the belief that AI will drive explosive economic growth, and hence demand for computing power, within a matter of years. This is not like building houses or factories. It is a high-reward, winner-takes-all market, in which ordinary concerns such as the cost of borrowing are easy, and tempting, to wave away.

Laut WSJ hat Open AI mit Oracle einen 300 Milliarden Computing Deal unterzeichnet. The OpenAI and Oracle contract, which starts in 2027, is a risky gamble for both companies. OpenAI is a money-losing startup that disclosed in June it was generating roughly $10 billion in annual revenue—less than one-fifth of the $60 billion it will have to pay on average every year. Oracle is concentrating a large chunk of its future revenue on one customer—and will likely have to take on debt to buy the AI chips needed to power the data centers.
