The firm notes Ehang announced on October 13 that its EH216-S has received type certification from China's government, which certifies EH216-S to conduct passenger-carrying UAV commercial operations. With this certification, Goldman expects its customers to accelerate pull-in for EH216-S purchases, transforming EHang's orders on hand to shipments, supporting Q4 and onward revenues growth. The firm expects EHang's AAV shipments to improve from 2 units per month in the first half of 2023 to 18/36 units per month in 2024/2025, and up to 50 units per month in 2026.
