[I-bank focus]Macquarie trims Great Wall Motor to HK$12.6 2017-08-29 18:01:00.0 [ET Net News Agency, 29 August 2017] Macquarie Research trimmed its target price for Great Wall Motor (GMW)(02333) to HK$12.6 from HK$15, and maintained its "outperform" rating in light of the improved operating outlook and attractive valuation. The research house lowered its forecasts to reflect its cautious margin outlook on elevated sales incentives as well as dilution from the new models during the sales ramp-up stage. Macquarie believes the concerns over the deterioration in margins in 2017 and cannibalization of older products from new ones are fully factored into the current share price.
