Third quarter 2026 earnings: EPS and revenues miss analyst expectations
Third quarter 2026 results:
EPS: JP¥31.98 (up from JP¥15.31 in 3Q 2025).
Revenue: JP¥103.1b (up 16% from 3Q 2025).
Net income: JP¥8.93b (up 109% from 3Q 2025).
Profit margin: 8.7% (up from 4.8% in 3Q 2025). The increase in margin was driven by higher revenue.
Revenue missed analyst estimates by 2.6%. Earnings per share (EPS) also missed analyst estimates by 14%.
Revenue is forecast to grow 13% p.a. on average during the next 3 years, compared to a 6.7% growth forecast for the Electronic industry in Japan.
Over the last 3 years on average, earnings per share has fallen by 11% per year but the company’s share price has increased by 43% per year, which means it is well ahead of earnings.
