CSG will participate in a major modernisation project for the Latvian Armed Forces, bringing together the Czech, Slovak and Latvian defence industries. The contractual documentation for the project was signed today.
Highlights:
▪️ The project includes MORANA 155 mm self-propelled howitzers and multiple-launch rocket systems.
▪️ TATRA DEFENCE SYSTEMS, a CSG company, will serve as the prime contractor. The total value of the project is in the hundreds of millions of euros.
▪️ The MORANA self-propelled howitzer is a joint product of CSG company EXCALIBUR ARMY and the Slovak defence industry, built on the TATRA FORCE 8×8 platform. The Latvian government has already decided to acquire MORANA howitzers for the Latvian Armed Forces.
▪️ A major part of the project is industrial cooperation and gradual localisation in Latvia, including manufacturing, final assembly, maintenance and lifecycle support.
▪️ Slovak defence companies will supply technologically critical components of the MORANA howitzer, including the 155 mm weapon system, superstructures and fire control system.
▪️ The project is expected to make use of financing under the EU’s Security Action for Europe (SAFE) instrument and is designed as a long-term European industrial partnership.

Wird schon das hier ist ja keine Deutsche defense Aktie die zu heiß gelaufen ist. Munition und Kettenfahrzeuge haben zudem sehr gute Margen
