The analysts cited growing complexity in protecting identities and managing AI-driven threats. Microsoft's security business has about 1.6 million customers and a $20 billion revenue run rate, with key growth drivers including identity services and adoption of its E5 suite. Palo Alto Networks offers a broad AI portfolio that includes real-time protection and products such as AI Gateway, which the firm said provides an edge over rivals focusing narrowly on token-based security.
