Whats interesting about the article is thefocus on Lithium Hydroxide productionwhich is seen as the "sweetest spot" in the lithium market with prices to increase more than carbonate going forward. Interesting that Namaska and Neometals are on a similar path to developing a plant with a similar process and focus to develop lithium hydroxide through electrolysis. Their DFS has shown good results are set to start on a phase 1 pilot plant. As we know the DFS on NMT's ELi process plant is completed and results out anytime now. And so NMT will also be set to start on a process plant very soon as well. All in all despite the competition, its comforting the see that the strategy of NMT seems to be a real winner with others adopting a similar path. Here are the differences though -  - NMT mine is starting production. Namaska mine is only at feasibility stage. Mine wont be up and running till 2018 at the earliest. - NMT has $80mil cash. Namaska has just $4 million in cash and needs partners and funding for the projects. - Both have a similar mine resource currently. - Namaska has started construction of its hydroxide phase 1 plant. cant find completion date but they are aiming to have it done before mine startup (2018) So they seem to be ahead of NMT in this respect. - Namaska own 100% of the tenements (NMT 13.8% with 51% rights to mine production offtake after Y3) however Namaska will needed a huge capex raising and offtake agreements to kick off mine development. This is their next stage.
