Novavax confirmed that they completed Material Transfer Agreements (MTA)s with 3 Pharma companies. That means those companies have (skin in the game) interest and they are in discussions about how Matrix M adjuvant and Nano Technology platform might maintain or expand their business (market share) going forward. Sanofi is in the game with Covid and CIC, so we are talking competition or expanding Novavax' partnerships and pipeline with additional products. Obviously, there is room for some BPs to upgrade their products with the Novavax technology, which would be a win-win scenario for both. Remember, there were a lot of BPs that could not make a viable and effective covid vaccine. I think mRNA vaccines got rubber stamped due to the pandemic and the need to get something quickly. And now HHS is trying to level the playing field based on supportive data. When FDA asked Novavax to do a Phase IV confirmation trial as a BLA condition, I would think they also levied data requirements on mRNA vaccines. When they could not or would not provide data, next you see is mRNA funding is being stripped away.
