Wegovy pill will get 3 months headstart over Foundayo in EU From today’s CHMP meeting at EMA we can see the agenda for this week. Foundayo will this week have its 120 day procedure presentation. This means it’s 3 months behind Wegovy pill that had its 120 day meeting 3 months ago. This means it will be a repeat of US launch with $NVO getting a 3 months headstart over $LLY And we just learnt today that $NVO is ready for an all out launch as soon as wegovy pill is approved by EMA. Foundayo though still has an advantage with faster scaling than wegovy pill.

Das Gap vom 05.05. auf den 06.05. (als die Zahlen kamen) wurde heute bei 285,90 DKK auch endlich geschlossen. Kann nun gerne wieder weiter nach oben laufen. :)

EMA recommends wegovy pill for approval. Well not yet. But should happen this coming Wednesday. From EMA recommendation to final approval from EU Commission, there can max go 67 days. So wegovy pill should be approved in June/July

In a huge surprise Semaglutide patent protection in Mexico might get prolonged to 2029/2033. The patent expired by end of March like in several other countries. But all the sudden a judge prolonged the patent protection to cover 10 years from launch in Mexico. It’s not final settled yet. But if $NVO ends up with further patent protection, that will have significant positive effect for NVO in Mexico
