$NVO reduced its workforce in Denmark by significantly more than originally announced. Novo had planned to eliminate 5,000 positions in Denmark as part of its global restructuring, but employee numbers have fallen from 33,820 in September 2025 to 26,511 at the end of July 2026, a reduction of 7,309 employees.
