Bei Worldline ist vieles strukturell kaputt dies ist nicht mit Paypal vergleichbar … Worldline CEO Gilles Grapinet said the economic downturn in Europe was reducing non-essential spending by shoppers, while increased regulatory scrutiny had forced it review its merchant risk policies. Cutting of ties with some merchants this year and next will cost it 130 million euros ($137 million) in lost revenues. According to JPMorgan: "the new free cash flow for the year at the mid-point of the guided range would be 38% below current consensus. The [2024] OMDA guidance of €100 million improvement would result in [2024] earnings estimates cut by 16% and essentially kill the previous long-term guidance to [2024] that the market increasingly did not believe." JPMorgan strategists also said in a note that after Wednesday's price move, Worldline was highly likely to be ejected from France's CAC 40 (.FCHI) in Euronext's next review of the benchmark index in December.
