Mit einem Anteil von knapp 20% ist der Tabakkonzern jetzt an dem Cannabis-Anbauer beteiligt. Teil des Deals im Wert von 221 Millionen US-Dollar ist auch, dass die beiden Unternehmen gemeinsam an einem neuen Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentrum arbeiten, wo neue mit Cannabis versetzte Produkte entwickelt werden sollen.
