Exciting times ahead! Quantafuel is aiming to build up to six plants in Germany, each with the capacity of chemically recycling between 80,000 and 150,000 tons of plastic waste, says our CEO Kjetil Bøhn in today’s article in CleantechWatch. As reported recently, the first plant will be a collaboration with Remondis, one of the world’s leading waste and water management companies, which intends to supply suitable plastic waste to the plant, and BASF, which uses the resulting pyrolysis oil as feedstock in its production Verbund as part of its ChemCyclingTM project. Quantafuel will provide the technology and operate the plant.  "This is the beginning of an exciting journey," says Bøhn.
