Bissl news aus dem FB Quantafuel strengthens its presence in the Danish waste market by investing in a plastic pre-treatment line in Aalborg to secure feedstock for the Skive plant and start building volumes for a larger plant in Esbjerg. The plastic waste sorting line will be adjacent to Geminor’s existing operations in Aalborg, Denmark. This is an important step to secure the feedstock needs both for Quantafuel’s plant in Skive and our planned new plant in Esbjerg. At Quantafuel’s plants, used plastic waste is upgraded into valuable products with minimal pollution, creating a circular economy, complementing mechanical recycling of plastics. “Our investment will help Denmark reach its ambitious strategy to become a pioneer within recycling in Europe, as well as enabling their goal of 60 percent actual recycling in tenders going forward.
