Zweimal im Jahr treffen sich die Mitglieder der Erdöl-Förderorganisation OPEC und ihre Kooperationspartner, genannte OPEC+. Die Termine stehen lange im Voraus fest. Diesmal war ein Treffen für den 25. und 26. November geplant. Es wurde verschoben: Neuer Anlauf 30. November. Umgehend gingen die Ölpreise auf Talfahrt. Brent-Öl fiel am Mittwoch auf 78,48 Dollar. Im September war es noch für knapp 100 Dollar pro Fass gehandelt worden. WTI-Öl rutschte bis auf 73,84 Dollar ab.
