Das Ganze hat erst angefangen. Die nächsten 5-7 Jahre wird das Angebot immer kleiner bei steigender Nachfrage. Ich sehe nicht wie die erwartete Abrufmenge auf dem März Future bedient werden will. Die Terminkontrakte werden mit Cash Settlement abgewickelt - und dann gehts richtig rund. Sollten die Preise weiter nach oben gehen, werden die Parteien auf der Shortseite verdrängt - und da sind immer noch viele Jahre Minenproduktion gelistet. Das ist nicht machbar. Neben den ansteigenden Margins werden irgendwann die Aufsichtsbehörden bei den Banken auftauchen und Restriktionen verkünden. Das ist dann das Ende dieser Papierkontrakte. Das System ist unflexibel, weil es kein Silber gibt das man unabhängig vom Geld herbei zaubern kann. Also knallts, also steigt der Preis - und zwar im ersten Schritt gewaltig. Neue Minen werden dann wirtschaftlich, brauchen aber 10 Jahre. In Lateinamerika gibts ein paar Projekte die bald kommen - absonten Jahre bei sinkender Produktion.
