SAP, the enterprise-software and business-AI provider, featured in Nvidia's latest push to make autonomous agents safer. Its U.S. shares fell about 3.0% to $204.30 around 9:55 a.m. ET Monday. Nvidia's new safety platform puts a fresh spotlight on OpenShell, the software SAP is already building into its Joule Studio runtime.

SAP's work with Nvidia began months ago. OpenShell sets technical limits on what an agent can access or execute; SAP adds business roles, approvals and audit controls. That pairing matters when an AI agent moves beyond answering questions and starts acting inside a company's financial or procurement systems.
The valuation picture is striking: GF Value puts the shares at $257.14, leaving the $204.30 price 20.55% below that estimate. The gap gives investors a reason to look closer, but the commercial test remains open. It is working with Japanese trading company ITOCHU on the first use cases. SAP's U.S. shares rose about 1% to $211.10 at 11.20am ET time on Friday. The work starts with raw-material transactions. SAP's system pulls together documents and business context, then suggests the general-ledger account and commission details for a finance specialist to review. That human check is central: an answer that looks plausible still has to hold up through the close and an audit. SAP's wider push into finance agents gives this project a bigger stage, but ITOCHU is a test of whether the tools can handle a real trading workflow.
