The American Business Awards are the premier business awards program in the United States. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Monday, June 13. Mattress Firm was nominated for its Junk Sleep employee communications and engagement campaign. Last summer, Mattress Firm launched the Junk Sleep campaign, one of the largest brand marketing efforts in the company’s history, dedicated to shedding light on the nation’s junk sleep problem. The campaign supports Mattress Firm’s long-standing commitment to helping people get a better night’s sleep and live happier and healthier lives. “We’re so honored to have our Junk Sleep employee communications campaign recognized as the best internal campaign the American Business Awards have seen this year,” said Katie Clark, Mattress Firm’s senior director of communications. “Our internal team created a plan where every touchpoint built toward a growing sense of excitement, curiosity, and much-deserved pride among Mattress Firm associates.” More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.
