The short-seller report didn't appear to cause the late filing notice, but the two items combined certainly look like a red flag for Supermicro, as the server maker is also known. Of the two issues, Hindenburg's accusations seem like the more concerning problem at the moment since the late filing only matters if there are indeed accounting inconsistencies discovered. Hindenburg's findings, if true, could be damaging over the long term, especially as Supermicro was previously fined by the SEC in 2020 for $17.5 million for insufficient "internal accounting controls."
Ja, nur hätte es das eine (spätere Einreichung) ohne das andere (Anschuldigungen von Hindenburg) gar nicht gegeben. Insofern ist es schon schwierig so zu tun, als handelt es sich um zwei voneinander unabhängige Vorgänge.

Mal abgesehen davon wird ein Unternehmen, wie Super Micro sicher keine Daten faken. Das wäre in der Tat skandalös. Viel mehr dürften es wenn überhaupt laienhafte fehlerhafte Buchungen sein.

wie gesagt, dass etwas an den zahlen frisiert worden ist daran besteht wohl kein zweifel mehr, bin auf die höhe gespannt, gehe aber nicht von mehr als 2-3mrd aus die gefaked sind

Die hatten 2020 schon mal eine Strafe gekriegt von der sec. Die nicht Einreichung wurde wegen iks verschoben und nicht wegen zahlen

Also ich bleibe dabei auch wenn hier stark manipuliert wurde. Laut Stockwits und so das was man liest, sollte nicht mehr als 1/3 des Umsatzes gefaked sein. Das Bargeld ist ja ebenfalls real da. Sollte es zu klagen kommen sollten die Vermögenswerte locker reichen um die Aktionärsklagen zu decken. In 1-2 Jahren redet da keiner mehr drüber. Ist anderer Fall wie Wirecard, Wirecard hatte kaum Gelder und einen negativen Cashflow. SMCI hat einen positiven Cashflow.
