C Suisse Slightly Cuts TENCENT (00700.HK) TP to $455, Expects 2Q Adj. NP to Grow 26% YoY Credit Suisse anticipated that the total revenue of TENCENT (00700.HK) will burgeon by 11% YoY to RMB149 billion in the second quarter, while its adjusted net profit will rise by 26% to RMB35.5 billion. The broker believed that online game competition will a key focus for TENCENT. Valorant (PC) was well received in mainland China following its launch on 12 July, while Lost Ark (PC) is scheduled to be launched on 20 July. The broker projected these two high-margin PC titles to serve as the prime drivers or catalysts for TENCENT over the second half of this year. In terms of the advertising segment, Credit Suisse contended that the 2H23 industry growth outlook and updates on Video Accounts will likely become the focal point of investors' attention. As for AI strategy, the broker suggested to monitor how AI gradually blend into TENCENT's products such as Tencent Cloud, and function as a tool to enhance efficiency for online games and ad business. Credit Suisse lifted the 2023-24E adjusted EPS for TENCENT by 1-2%. The target price on the stock was trimmed from $461 to $455, with its rating kept at Outperform.

1% Dividende ist doch ganz nett, plus die Sonderdividende die über 1% ausgemacht hat. Warten tue ich natürlich darauf dass der Kurs sich wieder erholt, aber etwas Geld zwischendurch ist ja auch nicht verkehrt.

Gab es die Zahlen gestern?

Mittwoch zahlen, Vorzeichen sehen ja schon mal gut aus, schade, wollte eigentlich noch nachlegen aber gegen 45 hab ich auch nichts

Sind wohl wieder mehr Investitionen im Ausland geplant, speziell europäische Spielestudios und Beschränkungen aus China fallen weg.

Heftig wie stark Tencent zuletzt gegenüber anderen China Aktien performt!

Wenn dir das Risiko, dass die Regierung von China in Aktien und Unternehmen viel eingreift bzw. zum Teil lenkt, nicht zu groß ist, spricht nix dagegen. Kurs ist gut zurück gekommen und mit langem Atem geht's bestimmt auch wieder auf bessere Zeiten zu. 😊
