"The deal between Tiffany & Co. $TIF and LVMH $MC.PA will not happen as the French government asked for an extension because of tariffs on luxury goods from the US Government. Tiffany & Co. is suing LVMH as they believe that the deal has to go through. I invested in Tiffany & Co. as an arbitrage deal and right now, when I look at the stock, it is expensive to hold and I don't think it is wise to hope that Tiffany's wins the lawsuits. The best thing to do in my opinion is to end our investment in Tiffany & Co. We're going to make about a 10% loss on the investment and it was 3.5% of our portfolio. Therefore, the total loss should be around 0.35%. This is the first arbitrage deal that I'm doing where I'm losing money. It is not much but I believe that this is the right thing to do." so sehe ich das auch 😎
