Was die shorties angeht: ja, die hohen Leihgebühren sollten nach Zeichnung des Deals ein closing bewirken - noch ein (!) weiterer Peak würde mich nicht überraschen - ich würde hier aber keinesfalls jetzt noch einsteigen. Der Peak, wenn er kommt, kann aber den hier gefangenen vielleicht einen Ausstieg ermöglichen

$WOLF ANNOUNCES DEBT RESTRUCTURING TO CUT $4.6B IN DEBT, SLASH INTEREST COSTS 60% Wolfspeed just reached a Restructuring Support Agreement with key lenders—including 97% of senior secured noteholders and over 67% of convertible debtholders—that’s expected to cut its debt by about 70%, or roughly $4.6 billion. Annual cash interest payments are also set to drop by around 60%. As part of the deal, Wolfspeed will receive $275 million in new financing, restructure its existing convertible debt, and cancel current equity—giving shareholders a small piece of new equity going forward. The company plans to move through a Chapter 11 process and emerge by Q3 2025. Wolfspeed says it will continue operating normally during restructuring, with no disruption to customers or vendors.
