Morgan Stanley said Airbus's positioning is stronger than ever and the plane maker ought to cruise through short-term supply-chain and inflationary turbulence. Though higher energy and material costs, potential supply constraints, and the effects of a recession provide incremental risks to earnings, abundant catalysts for growth are expected in the next 12 months. Jet-fuel prices have increased incentives for airlines to buy new planes, and recent data on orders suggest a shift toward the company's most profitable aircraft, Morgan Stanley said. It expects Airbus will be able to exercise pricing power into early 2024 with the launch of its new A321 XLR plane. The bank has lowered its target price on Airbus to EUR135 from EUR137

Wenn die Probleme von Airbus auf der Produktionsseite liegen, werden große Bestellungen da kaum etwas ändern. Ausnahmen wären vielleicht in der Rüstungssparte oder Modelle mit niedrigen Bestellungen z.B. A330 oder A350. Ob es jetzt 50 A320 Bestellungen mehr oder weniger sind, ändert relativ wenig.
