BREAKING: Excited to announce that the peer-reviewed journal Clinical Ophthalmology has published the results of a #clinicaltrial comparing the subjective eye drop experience of patients with #dryeyedisease over 1 hour after a single dose of two formulations of our RASP inhibitor, #reproxalap, versus lifitegrast. On the measures of eye drop comfort, both reproxalap formulations consistently scored higher than lifitegrast. Dry eye disease affects tens of millions of patients in the U.S. every year. Patients typically suffer from ocular discomfort, visual disturbance, tear film instability, increased tear osmolarity, conjunctival redness, and inflammation of the ocular surface that, in severe case, can lead to vision loss. Lifitegrast is one of only two drugs approved for the chronic treatment of dry eye disease, but due to common side effects, such as ocular irritation, blurred vision, and taste disturbance, approximately two-thirds of patients discontinue treatment after a median of just 1 month. Given the complex and chronic nature of dry eye disease, a therapy that results in greater patient adherence is critical. At Aldeyra, we’ve made it our mission to develop safe and effective treatments that improve the lives of patients with significant unmet medical needs. The results of this head-to-head trial demonstrate not only that reproxalap has broad statistically significant advantages over lifitegrast in assessments of the most common lifitegrast side effects. The trial also shows that reproxalap’s superior performance with regard to the most commonly reported side effects of lifitegrast may result in greater patient adherence and lower discontinuation rates. Hallo zusammen, Gab es bisher Infos, wann die Studie 3 abgeschlossen ist, wann soll theoretisch der Antrag bei der FDA gestellt werden und wie lange würde es bis zur Zulassung dauern? Gibt es schon erste Verträge mit potentiellen Käufern, welche ggf bekannt sind? Denke auch, kann schnell auf 9, 12, 16, 21 euro hochschiessen
