DoE grants status
In early/mid-2026, Anson’s US subsidiary A1 Lithium submitted three applications seeking a combined ~US$85–142 million (gross; net after cost-share lower) under these programs:
• Mines of the Future (applied ~January 2026; ~US$32m sought)
• Mines and Metals Capacity Expansion (applied ~January 2026; ~US$10m)
• Battery Materials Processing and Battery Manufacturing (applied ~April 2026; ~US$100m)
These have strong formal support from Utah congressional representatives (letters requesting “full and fair consideration”). Applications were lodged in January and April 2026. As of the company’s July 2026 update, the DoE had already missed its own internal timelines for decisions, and no selection or award announcement date is known.

The GOED decision on 10 September is the next domino
Anson has separately applied to the Governor’s Office of Economic Development for tax reduction support on the Green River project, and that application is scheduled to be considered at the GOED board meeting on 10 September 2026. Management has been clear that the UIPA approval sits alongside, not in place of, the GOED discussion.
If GOED approves a corporate tax reduction on top of today’s property tax rebate, the combined incentive package starts to look like a genuine competitive advantage for the project. Utah is quietly positioning itself as a friendly jurisdiction for critical minerals processing, and Anson is one of the more advanced beneficiaries. We think the market has under-appreciated how much government support is stacking up here

"Yesterday’s Ann was a cracker moving forward. Importantly it also mentioned that the Co may be in for more cash on September 10th from GOED- Government Office of Economic Development.
Now Fid isn’t to early next year, but with potential of these two grants, the figures do look much better!"
"Then we have Exim’s $330mil sitting ready if we tick the boxes, things are starting to look rosier- in my opinion.
Also consider in the Anns stating a partnership with Posco & LG, there was mentions of possible financial commitments, and the fact that Co is also chasing Federal Money and possible SK Exim money, the $$$$$ picture is becoming much clearer."

Es gab in den letzen Wochen massenhaft positive Meldungen. Die helfen gar nichts! Die einzigen Kurstreiber sind die Attacken der Zwerge vom Zwergenaufstand. Wenn die weitermachen, und davon muss man ausgehen, werden ihre Aktivitäten den Kurs weiter nach unten treiben, oder zumindest nicht hochkommen lassen.

Feedback eines Gesprächs mit Bruce im Nachgang des EGMs:
Paradox → Green River: Der Wechsel wurde offenbar vor allem wegen der sehr langen Umweltgenehmigungen auf BLM-Land bei Paradox vollzogen. Bruce sprach von 5–7 Jahren Genehmigungsdauer. Außerdem hätte die Bromiumproduktion eine zusätzliche Processing-Anlage mit ca. 150–200 Mio. USD Capex erfordert.
Green River ist aus Sicht von ASN operativ günstiger und die Sole sauberer bzw. weniger belastet.
Green River ist zunächst ein reines Lithiumprojekt: In der GR-Sole ist kein Brom enthalten. Fokus liegt daher ausschließlich auf Lithium.
Technologiepartner: Sunresin ist grundsätzlich weiterhin im Umfeld, dürfte aber aufgrund der chinesischen Herkunft aktuell keine Rolle bei einer US-Kommerzialisierung spielen. Koch/Aquatech sind ebenfalls offenbar keine Option, da deren Technologie chinesische Harze verwendet.
Yellow Cat: Bruce ist selbst frustriert über die Verzögerung der Assays. Die Proben wurden nach Kanada geschickt, weil es in den USA offenbar kein geeignetes Labor für diese Untersuchungen gibt.
Yellow Cat Geologie: Oberflächennah gibt es Mineralisierung von 0–40 m, darunter fällt die Mineralisierung tiefer ab und wurde bis etwa 150 m Tiefe verfolgt. Das bisherige Programm nutzte Air-Core-Bohrungen für den oberflächennahen Bereich. Ein weiteres Programm mit RC-Bohrungen soll die tieferen Bereiche testen.
Ajana/Hoolley/Bull: Eine mögliche JV-Lösung für mehrere Projekte wurde laut Bruce bereits diskutiert. Ob es dazu kommt, ist offen.
Yellow Cat Verkauf: Bruce schließt auch einen späteren Verkauf von Yellow Cat nach erfolgreicher Ressourcendefinition nicht aus – alle Optionen seien offen.
POSCO: ASN ist nicht ausschließlich auf die POSCO-Technologie angewiesen. Parallel wird an einer eigenen Technologie gearbeitet. Beide Technologien sollen später miteinander verglichen werden. Wenn alles gut läuft, sieht Bruce POSCO perspektivisch als möglichen Partner für die Entwicklung von Paradox Lithium.
Übergreifendes Feedback: Der wohl wichtigste Punkt des Gesprächs war, dass viele der strategischen Entscheidungen laut Bruce nachvollziehbare Gründe haben – das Problem ist aus Sicht des Gesprächspartners vor allem die mangelnde Kommunikation dieser Gründe gegenüber den Aktionären. Bruce habe dieses Feedback aufgenommen.

Ja, vor allem die Veränderung, dass das Management von einem nicht unerheblichen Teil der Aktionäre attackiert wird. Wer will schon in so ein Unternehmen investieren? Die Aktie wird schwach bleiben.
