Major stock exchanges in the Asia-Pacific region traded with strong gains on Thursday following Wall Street's rally, as investors turned to the United States inflation report slated for release later today. In other news, the Bank of Korea decided to keep its interest rates unchanged for the twelfth time.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite added 0.88% at 4:18 am CET, while the Shenzhen Composite skyrocketed 1.91% a minute later. At 4:20 am CET, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng soared 1.57%, South Korea’s Kospi Composite was up 0.87% at the same time.
