Trump Media unveils $2.5B Bitcoin treasury deal Trump Media and Technology Group Corp. announced on Tuesday it reached subscription agreement with about 50 institutional investors to issue and sell some $1.5 billion in common stock and $1.0 billion in principal amount of 0.00% convertible senior secured notes to acquire $2.5 billion and create a Bitcoin treasury, effective around May 29, 2025. "One of the largest Bitcoin treasury deals of any public company, the move closes Trump Media's previously announced special acquisition fund, which is one of numerous ways, including through potential mergers and acquisitions, that the Company is aiming to expand its reach throughout the America First economy," Trump Media said in a statement. The company added that Crypto.com and Anchorage Digital will provide custody for its Bitcoin treasury. The announcement followed the report of Trump Media seeking to raise $3 billion to acquire cryptocurrency.

Die Trump Media and Technology Group plant, 2,5 Milliarden Dollar bei Investoren zu beschaffen, um in Bitcoin zu investieren. 1,5 Milliarden US-Dollar sollen durch Aktienverkäufe und eine Milliarde durch die Ausgabe von Wandelanleihen aufgebracht werden 🤭
