Battery installation market share for China market up until Nov from 痛快舒畅
Very interesting to see CATL losing market share (down from 51.9 in 2021 to 43.4% now)
BYD going up due to popularity of its own lineup
But other suppliers like CALB & Eve are also going up
As more automakers are developing their own batteries (GAC, Geely & Chery also doing so), things will get tougher for CATL

2024 should be good yr for BYD CV division as new factory starts product & more models come out
+ increased sales channel w/ new B2B stores
Also expect more exports
All that R&D increase from this yr have to go somewhere
imo Commercial vehicle space is just 1 of many divisions you will see BYD increase its presence

This time a Carbon ceramic brake that is lighter, can tolerate higher heat & last longer
It can also brake faster (10% shorter distance)
Makes less noise & cause less vibration
Cost abt 20k RMB, so intended for more expensive models
