How far can EVs actually go? This is Dongchedi long range testing on 4WD SUV models (I think at high speed, not sure how much).
Yu-7 finished on top w/ 587 km (770 km version)
Da Tang 2nd w/ 586 km (850 km version)
Li Auto i8 3rd w/ 568km (720 km version)
Followed by G6, Model X, Zeekr 7X, Avatr 11 & Luxeed 7X.
Da Tang actually under-achieved its stated range by quite a bit, but it is also the largest model in this group by far.

In May, the top 20 models by retail sales (based on insurance registrations) were as follows:🇨🇳
• #Geely Galaxy Geome E22H led with 38.4k units, followed by Model Y (25.1k) and SU7 (23.9k), though SU7 dropped 10.6% MoM.
• #BYD had five models in the top 20: Sealion 05 surged 110.1% MoM, Song Pro and Yuan UP grew steadily, while Sealion 06 and Dolphin fell 10.5% and 11.1% respectively.
• #Tesla's Model 3 jumped 506.6% to 18.5k, Model Y up 28.9%.
• Among the top 20, SUVs accounted for 12 models, cementing their dominance.

BYD Korea unveiled its DM-i Super Hybrid tech and confirmed the launch of new PHEV models in South Korea at a Seoul briefing on June 17.
Differing from European fuel-focused PHEVs, BYD’s hybrids adopt an electric-first, fuel-assisted design. Despite South Korea’s sluggish local PHEV market, BYD is confident in its technological edge, expecting PHEV sales to hit three times that of its BEVs.
The BYD SEALION 6 PHEV targets 1,000–2,000 monthly sales post-launch. The brand will also showcase its DM-i technology at the 2026 Busan International Mobility Show from June 26 to July 5.
According to South Korea's May 2026 imported vehicle data, Tesla, BMW and Mercedes-Benz top the country’s imported vehicle rankings, and BYD ranked 7th with 1,032 registered units.
